  8. Thickness:        1.4cm
  9.      This  gourd-shaped 
  10. inkstone is made of green 
  11. Sung-hua stone.  Its ink-
  12. grinding surface is slightly 
  13. concave.  The water reservoir 
  14. is located towards the top 
  15. of the gourd, decorated with 
  16. a bat design above the pool.  
  17. Inscribed on the slightly  
  18. depressed underside surface 
  19. of the inkstone are characters 
  20. by the Yung-cheng emperor, 
  21. and a Yung-cheng reign-seal.
